FAQ & Policies

If you have purchased your fixture from us, we may be able to order you parts directly from the supplier. We do not have a parts department with parts readily available and do not stock parts or lighting accessories such as lampshades and glass shades.

We stock a range of LED lightbulbs for all of our fixtures. We do not carry incandescent or halogen bulbs. Please note: if you did not purchase your fixture through our location we cannot guarantee we will have the exact lightbulb you are looking for. You are more than welcome to visit us or contact us at 780-434-9024 for more information.

Yes! We have a talented team of technicians that can install fixtures in your home. If you have not purchased your fixtures from Chateau Lighting, we will not install them. Please contact us for pricing.

If you need your item shipped to you, we will coordinate pickup and delivery with your chosen shipping company or courier.

Yes, we will price match. Please review our price matching policies below.

We do not sell parts. If you purchased your item through our store, with receipt or record of purchase, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you through our supplier's parts & services department. We do not have replacement parts for suppliers we do not carry. If you did not purchase your item through our location we won't be able to assist you.

POLICIES

Return Policy

You can return your Chateau Lighting purchase by visiting us in-store during business hours. The purchaser must present the original sales receipt from Chateau Lighting within seven (7) business days for a full refund to be processed back to the original form of payment.

Returns after (7) business days may be eligible for in-store credit with presentation of original sales receipt. Returns after fourteen (14) business days are not accepted. Sale, clearance, display items and custom lighting orders are final sale.

Terms and Conditions:
  • Identification may be required at the time of refund.
  • Items must be returned in good condition, not installed, and in original packaging.
  • Custom ordered lighting will be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee when returned.
  • Custom ordered furniture is final sale.
  • Used outdoor equipment (including but not limited to heaters, fans, lighting, and furniture) cannot be returned.
  • Certain products such as: pillows, blankets/throws, home décor (plates, candles, mugs, glasses, dishtowels, etc.) will not be returned for hygienic reasons.
  • A refund will return to your original form of payment in about 5-7 business days, subject to the timelines of the purchasers bank institution
Damaged Items
Chateau Lighting does not accept lighting returns wherein wires have been cut by an electrician, purchaser, or other after purchase. If your product is found to have wires cut at the time of return, Chateau Lighting will not accept the item and no refund will be issued.
Clearance and Sales
Clearance, discount, and sale items are final sale. Clearance, discounts, and sales are specific to each product and apply only to items indicated as “clearance” or “sale”. Clearance and sale pricing cannot be combined with other offers, discounts, or promotions. Discounts will not be applied to past purchases. Clearance and sale items are only available while supplies last. Stock may vary. Other restrictions may apply.
Recently Purchased Items
If an item was originally purchased at a higher price than what is currently advertised at Chateau Lighting or another retail competitor, the customer may receive the new lower price upon request within fourteen (14) business days of the original purchase date. Some exceptions or other restrictions may apply.
Defectives, Damages, and Repairs
Chateau Lighting offers a one (1) year warranty of all light fixtures. We honour all supplier warranty policies. Supplier specific warranties may vary. Any costs associated with the install or replacement of any fixture that falls under supplier specific warranties, Chateau Lighting shall not be held responsible.

Custom Orders
Lighting: Custom ordered lighting will be subject to a 25% restocking fee when returned.Some exceptions or other restrictions may apply.
Furniture: Custom ordered furniture is final sale. Some exceptions or other restrictions may apply
Warranty
Chateau Lighting offers a one (1) year warranty on all light fixtures. Warranties are supplier specific and may vary; each item will have its own warranty with the manufacturer. To get the warranty information on your item, please contact us. Used and/or display products are subject to the manufacturer's warranty.
Chateau Brand furniture warranty information
Light bulbs

Chateau Lighting offers a one (1) year warranty on all lightbulbs. Proof of purchase required.

Gift Cards
Giftcards cannot be returned for monetary value and are non-refundable (unless required by law). Chateau Lighting reserves the right to deactivate or reject any gift card issued or procured through fraudulent activity. Stolen, lost, or damaged cards cannot be replaced.
Price Matching

If you find a lower price on an identical (brand, size, finish, model number) in-stock item currently offered at a local (Greater Edmonton Area) retail competitor’s store or website (including shipping, handling, fees, and taxes, if applicable), we will match their price.

Price Matching for Online Only Websites

If you find a lower price on an identical item at a Canadian online-only website, we will match their price (including shipping, fees, and taxes, if applicable).

  • Competitor close-out sales and special event promotions are excluded.
  • Competitors prices must be in Canadian dollars and Chateau Lightings matched-price will be adjusted for any fees, taxes, or other charges such as import fees and shipping that apply to the online retailer.
  • Competitor close-out, errors or misprints, discontinued, clearance, liquidation, special order, damaged items, delivery, display items, assembly, financing offers, short term door crashers / limited time sales (including Cyber Monday prices, Black Friday prices, Boxing Day/Week prices, etc.), member only pricing, restricted offers, mail order offers, rebates, coupons, premiums, free or bonus offers, limited or minimum quantity offers, and installation labour are excluded from this offer
  • Chateau Lighting reserves the right to verify the competitors price prior to sale.
  • Limited to reasonable quantities for purchaser and one-house order quantities.
  • The item must be in stock and available for immediate sale and delivery.
  • The item must be of the identical brand and model.
  • The item must be new and factory-sealed and subject to a manufacturer's warranty applicable in Canada.
  • The item must be sold by an authorized dealer located in Canada.
  • Price guarantee is subject to quantity availability. Other conditions apply.
  • Chateau Lighting promotions are not applicable in combination with the price match policy.
